At Hobson’s Bay Primary School, all children from Grades 4 - 6 have the opportunity to participate in the Inter-School Sport competition through the Williamstown and District School Sports Association (W.A.D.D.S.A).
Inter-School Sport is held in Terms 1 and 2 offering both Summer and Winter sports. All sports are open to both boys and girls and gender-inclusive teams are encouraged.
Athletics is the focus in Term 3 culminating in the District Athletics Sports in September. The school provides sports uniforms and parental assistance and participation is encouraged.
The school regularly invites representatives from various sports groups to run clinics to broaden the children’s experience and interests.
Hobson’s Bay runs a Camping Program every year (usually Term 4) for Grades 3 - 6. We have developed a three year cycle that provides a beach, farm and bush experience to ensure breadth and depth in the program
